William Blachly and Ann live in Vermont USA. He was 84 when he was diagnosed on March 20, 2008. His initial PSA was 12.0 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was 6 and he was staged T1c. He is undecided as to his choice of treatment . Here is his story.

My diagnosis was last week. I am in excellent health (otherwise)for my age, as they say. I have no history in my family, don't smoke, not overweight, am married and have two adult children and three grandchildren.

Since the last entry I have had a CT scan, abdominal scan, bone scan. All were negative.

A PSA last week had dropped since the one three months earlier and is now 10.3. I have an appointment May 9, 2008 for a second opinion at Dartmouth-Hitchcock..
