Robo C lives in Georgia, USA. He was 59 when he was diagnosed in June, 2016. His initial PSA was 6.43 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was 8, and he was staged Unknown. His choice of treatment was Surgery (Robotic Laparoscopic Prostatectomy). Here is his story.

THERE WAS NO RESPONSE TO AN UPDATE REMINDER IN 2017 SO THERE IS NO UPDATE.

My GP was watching my PSA numbers and seen an increase which he sent me to urologist. Urologist did another PSA test sent it to different lab. The urologist recommended a biopsy, but left it up to me. I select to do the biopsy. One out of ten core samples came back with a Gleason score of 8. 4+4, left mid. Had CT and bone scan-which came back negative. Dr. recommended active surveillance, surgery, seeds with therapy. He suggested robotic surgery so they could take prostate and see if there is any other cancer - an 8 being high risk. I'm leaning that way. I am getting second opinion. And a lot of advice. This came out of left field.
