Stan Bam and Mecha live in California, USA. He was 54 when he was diagnosed in May, 2010. His initial PSA was 44.00 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was 8, and he was staged Unknown. His initial treatment choice was External Beam Radiation+ADT (Intensity Modulated with ADT) and his current treatment choice is None. Here is his story.

THERE WAS NO RESPONSE TO AN UPDATE REMINDER IN 2018 SO THERE IS NO UPDATE.

I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area and after working with my main provider because my PSA were elevated, he prescribed antibiotics because he suspected an infection but no results (lowering my PSA). I was referred for a biopsy resulting in cancer of my prostate. My oncologist recommended Casodex for 2 weeks then intense modulated radiation (8 weeks) and Hormone therapy (28 months). So, after radiation and while on treatment my PSA became undetectable throughout treatment and 6 years later is undetectable. My testosterone level after one year came up to approximately over 300 and still climbing to this day without injections of testosterone (on their own). At that point my oncologist said I'm a cancer survivor and was told that 3 year later. I also eat lots of plant food and a healthy diet daily.
