No family history of either Prostate cancer and Kidney cancer. Most likely these 2 cancers occurred as a result of my 1977 testicular cancer. Testicular cancer occuring as a result of a non-disending right testical. The seminoma cancer treated with surgery and 30Gy of Cobalt radiation to the lower adomen pelvic area. The Cobalt radiation created a harsh evironment with my body responding with the Prostate and Kidney cancer. No evidence of any remaining Testicular cancer.

Kidney cancer treated October 13, 2003 laproscopic surgery with cryoablation. 4cm mid-pole right kidney stage 1 T1 N0 M0, original size 2cm in 2002. Cancer identified as Papilliary Fuhrman grade 3. After surgery continued scans indicate NED status.

Original diagnosis Gleason 9 (4+5) 70% cores, perineural invasion, T1c N0 M0, August - October 2002 completed external beam 70Gy 3D-CRT. 2 years of Zoladex adjuvant hormone mono therapy. After last Zoladex in 2004 PSA; started rising July 2006 PSA 1.3.

PSA to 57.97 on November 24th, 2009 doubling time 18 days. Start Abiraterone Acetate clinical trial with Prednisone. Study is still blinded so I hav no idea if I could take the drug today.
