Bill Hasseberg lives in Florida, USA. He was 66 when he was diagnosed in August, 2008. His initial PSA was 20.20 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was Unknown, and he was staged Unknown. His choice of treatment was Other (Other). Here is his story.
Diagnosed with advanced aggressive strain of cancer. Tumor about the size of the prostate. I took an herbal cocktail for over 120 days that shrunk the tumor to virtually nothing and surgery was performed 8 months after original diagnosis. I regret that I did not have my doctor monitor my PSA after the tumor shrunk rather than going ahead with surgery. When I mention the herbal cocktail, that's the only thing I can contribute the shrinkage of the tumor to because I did not resort to radiation or chemo. I only know it was the rare aggressive strain because my doctors diagnosed it as such. 6 years and a few weeks now since surgery, almost 7 years since original diagnosis.
Really nothing to add. Another year has passed and I've gotten a year older. It's been almost 8 years now since my original diagnosis.
